From Jabra - the brand who changed the face of the Business Conferencing with their Speak range of portable conference speakers - is now launching a revolutionary new product for real-time intelligent video conferencing. According to their website  the Jabra PanaCast has been engineered to be the world’s first intelligent 180° Panoramic 4K plug-and-play video solution, and on first impressions we have to say it looks pretty smart.

Plug-and-play with minimal setup

One of the main advantages of Jabra's audio conference range was the simple plug-and-play capability, and the PanaCast looks set to bring the same usability to Video Conferencing. The PanaCast will simply plug into your laptop or computer’s USB port, and you’ll be ready to go. Furthermore the Speak range can also be integrated with PanaCast to further optimise the UC experience, enabling you to hold meetings wherever without having to sacrifice on clear audio quality.

Natural 180° view in 4k

The Jabra PanaCast is equipped with three 13-megapixel cameras and patented real-time video stitching to give a full 180° view of the room. Perfect for smaller conference meeting rooms you will be able to provide Panoramic 4K video with no blind spots.

Intelligent Zoom and optimised video

The Intelligent Zoom will automatically include everyone in the room, while Vivid Auto-lighting ensures a great video experience. This is because the intuitive camera technology detects individual meeting participants and optimizes the field of view to include everyone in the conversation, while automatically optimizing video quality, even under varying lighting conditions, to provide a better viewing experience.

Compatible with all leading conferencing solutions

The Jabra PanaCast will work with all leading video and audio-conferencing solutions, and is compatible with Microsoft Teams. So no matter what your business, partners, or clients are using you can be confident that your team will be able connect.   There is currently no release date confirmed for the Jabra PanaCast but our current assumption is that it will be available to purchase from Autumn 2019 at the latest.
