Do Not Disturb

The intuitive Do Not Disturb feature on the BT 6500 enables a greater degree of control over incoming calls to your landline by allowing you to preset certain times of the day that the ringer will be silenced. You can assign certain contact in the phonebook to ring even during this mode so you can still keep in touch with the most important people in your life.

User-friendly

Set-up of the BT6500 is made quick and easy via the on-screen instructions, which prompt you through the process on the clear 1.8” backlit screen. Each handset features a high-quality keypad, which is pleasing to use and makes navigating through the straightforward menus even easier. And with a battery life for up to 12 hours of continuous talk-time, dependable indoor and outdoor range, and a shared phonebook (for automatic copy of contacts between the two handsets whenever the phonebook is updated), the 6500 has been designed to impress.

Integrated answering machine

The answering machine can be easily switched on or off, and provides a recording time for up to 30 minutes of messages. You are notified of new messages by the LED indicator on the base unit (from which you can also be used playback messages) and can switch on the Audible Alert for a beep to be emitted once there is a new voicemail. Call screening is also available on the BT 6500, which allows you to hear messages as they are being recorded and answer the call if you wish.
