The Siemens Gigaset DX800A Trio: A high-end hybrid desktop phone for VoIP and ISDN or fixed line calling with two cordless handsets
The Gigaset DX800A desktop phone is a professional multiline solution designed for small offices and home offices. The stylish design features a large 3.5” TFT colour screen for displaying the intuitive interface and taking advantage of advanced connectivity. The base can be configured for either IP with ISDN, or IP with fixed line, and its multi-line capabilities mean that the DX800A can support up to 4 simultaneous. Further benefits include three integrated answering machines for recording up to 55 minutes of messages in total, and two Gigaset S810H additional cordless handsets to meet the demands of any small business.
Professional contact management
The Gigaset DX800A has an integrated memory for up to one thousand contacts (each with seven fields for the surname, first name, three phone numbers, e-mail address and birthday). Once stored, contacts can be assigned a photo for Picture Caller ID as well as a unique ringtone. And updating the address book is made easy with the option synchronize with a PC or Mac via Gigaset QuickSync software; whilst vCards can be transferred to and from a compatible mobile phone using Bluetooth. When connected to the computer via the Ethernet port, the Gigaset DX800A also permits direct dialing (CTI) from Microsoft Outlook for convenience.
With two Gigaset S810H cordless handsets it is easy to take advantage of the additional call management features that the DX800A has to offer. With the facility for up to 4 parallel call, each phone can be used for making and receiving calls simultaneously (3 VoIP and 1 fixed line, 2 VoIP and 2 ISDN lines, or up to 4 VoIP lines). Calls can be transferred between handsets, and the intercom facility can be a useful for keeping in touch with your associates.
