If you like to crank your radio up to 11, the Evoke H6 is more than up to the task. In terms of sound profile, the H6 has a nice warm mid-range and decent separation between tracks. The bass is perhaps a little too heavy for some people’s tastes, but this DAB radio nonetheless performed well in our tests. One nice touch is the variety of preset EQ options to choose from. For instance, if you’re listening to Jazz FM and want the sound to really pop, then just select the “Jazz” EQ option. Simple! If you’d prefer to take more control over things, then you still have the ability to adjust the EQ to your own personal preferences.

Packed with features

The main talking point here is the H6’s internet radio functionality. This is normally only found in more expensive models, so it’s nice to see a more budget-friendly DAB radio including this feature. With more than 30,000 online stations to choose from, you’ll certainly get your money’s worth out of this model! Thanks to the intuitive control method, though, it’s never difficult to find what you’re looking for. If you’d rather choose your own music, then this model also supports aux and Bluetooth connectivity. That means you can easily play whatever you like from your smartphone or table and listen through the H6’s stellar speaker- perfect!

Up to 40 station presets

Like its smaller sibling, the H3, the Evoke H6 has an impressive 40 preset slots available. This can really come in handy with the internet radio function, as it saves you from forgetting any hidden gems that you’ve discovered. Just hold down the preset button, and the radio will automatically save the station you’re listening to for playback later.
