Doesn't do the basics

My handset rarely dials a number the first time I enter it but just continues with the ringtone. I have to go to the number dialled and then press dial and then it works. Immensely frustrating. Plus at 6:00 am it suddenly started blaring a very loud alarm for no reason. I had to switch off the unit and turn it back on again.

Overpriced piece of...

Bought this because we wanted a home phone that would put an end to nuisance calls and thought that this would be best. Quality of the handset is awful and the sound quality is tinny and poor. The only good thing about it is the advanced call blocking but it doesn't make up for all its other shortcomings. Wish we'd opted for something else especially considering that it's not exactly the cheapest phone we could've bought. Very disappointed...

Good for call blocking but not much else...

My last set of BT phones finally stopped working after a good number of years. I decided to stick with BT because we've been on the receiving end of a fair amount of nuisance calls lately. In that respect it is fantastic- Call Guardian feature works well and we haven't been bothered with a cold call since the set was installed. However, overall I'm somewhat unimpressed. The sound quality and range don't seem to be as good as the older set it replaced, and the menu is somewhat slow (there is also no colour screen). If I had the choice again I would probably go for something else....
