I phoned to clarify if the handsets and base had the features I required Liho were very helpful. The handsets are good quality and have loads of features.

Bought these luxury, top-end phones to replace a pair of old BT Phones, so at least we're ready for when the 2025 PTSN service is terminated with a pair of quality VOIP phones. But when spending over £200 for a pair of landline phones I assumed (as I'm sure many customers might) that the phones would at least have a local voicemail system. Sadly this is not the case! The provided base-unit is an N300 IP and not the N300A IP which does give you local voicemail.

You will have to contact your provider to setup 1571 (possibly at extra cost) voicemail service.

No complaints with the phone except the dreadful Gigaset QuickSync software which won't sync Google or Outlook contacts properly (you'll be playing with local .CSV files in windows contacts, have fun!). And QuickSync will ONLY work with Win10 and not Win11 / Mac / Ubuntu.

Over the years I have bought a number of cordless phones from Ligo and always received great service, whether it was advice or speed of delivery. This latest phone is another great choice. Given 4 stars for value as to some it might be classed as expensive. But for me, it is 5 stars all around. The sound quality is another leap forward. Having got an OBE two years ago, there are features that we won't be using like VOIP, but it's great to know it's there if the chance that one of the family can point us in the direction of using that. Don't hold your breath on that.

Currently I only have it set up as a standard landline phone - but it’s voip ready if we want. So what do I love about it? It’s great - not only does it look great - small and neat - and we love the visuals - the clock on the front looks great along with the text colour. But also we can have it in whichever room we want without needing two handsets. Because of the box. The small box sits next to and plugs into the phone socket. The phone itself can be placed in any room or anywhere there is a plug socket for the charging cradle. It’s very neat and no wires everywhere. Previously our old phone had to sit on top of the fridge freezer to reach the phone socket. With this new Gigaset one we have it in the lounge and it has a cosy friendly glow (and that nice clock face!) that looks very smart in the lounge. I love the small size (have small hands) and the fact the style is like an old Nokia mobile phone - all very easy to use. Has a big thumbs up from me - and less wires around. One word of warning- there is an option to set “call a number by any key press “. Be careful doing this and read the instructions carefully! I decided to set the one touch number to 999 - having just come out of hospital. Which I did. But then didn’t like the display it left on the screen so decuded to turn that option off again. You guessed it - every key I pressed in my attempt to turn it off - called 999 - over and over! In the end I had to apologise and explain I had set up a quick dial number and was trying to turn it off. I probably didn’t do something right - but be warned if setting up a quick dial number!

It was very easy to set up and use. Great sound quality and thanks to Bluetooth, it is wonderful to use with a headset.
