High-quality ED glass combined with fully multi-coated lenses provides optical clarity and precision in all situations. Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) Glass is excellent at reducing the presence of chromatic aberrations (colour-fringing) for a much clearer and reliable viewing experience.

Clear viewing experience, whatever the weather

All Frontier ED X binoculars pass through a strict quality control inspection to ensure all aspects match design intent. They are optically checked for resolution, light transmission and Strehl Ratio for optical image formation. Their resilience to harsh temperatures, both hot and cold, is tested operationally from -15°C to +55°C and in storage conditions from -40°C to +70°C. Waterproofing to IPX7 and fog proofing are also rigorously tested.

Compact, light & robust

Ideal as bird watching binoculars or for wildlife watching, they are designed to withstand rugged conditions out in the field in all temperatures and weathers. Focusing is smooth, precise and effortless. They’re light in weight too, thanks to a magnesium alloy chassis protected with a lightweight, textured rubber coating.

Top Quality!!

OMG I am so pleased with these Hawke binoculars! The case is very sturdy and practical and the binoculars themselves are unbelievable, light, clear and top quality. I am delighted!

Brilliant for birdwatching

I've had several binoculars over the years mainly for birdwatching. These are by far the best! Nice weight, solid but comfortable enough to hold steady while following birds in flight. Great focus and decent eye relief. I've used binoculars 2-3 times the prices and would pick these over them!

Excellent binoculars

Excellent binoculars. Good weight, not too heavy but feel solidly built. Clarity is amazing and colours much brighter and lifelike than my previous pair of bins. My only complaint is with the case. Find it very awkward to get the binocular in and out of them and although it's a hard case to offer protection, it's a bit bulky (and cheap looking for an otherwise premium product). Service from Ligo was top-class, would happily order from the again.

Great binoculars for the price

Firstly, was delighted to receive my order next day despite opting for Free Delivery from Ligo. Impressions upon opening were very positive – the binoculars themselves feel well constructed and I think the packaging and accessories are decent quality (I like how robust the case is). I had them out in the back garden in no time for a quick test. They are nice and light, very easy to focus and provide a bright sharp image. I tried them with and without glasses and the eye relief is pretty good. Overall, great binoculars for the price!

Best binoculars for the price

I ordered these (at 8x42) after reading numerous positive reviews online. I read some reviews, which went as far as to claim that they are on a par with Leica and Swarowskis (which are over £2k). I wouldn’t say I agree completely but have found them to be superior to any other bins I’ve tested at a similar price range. They provide clear, crisp, bright optics and feel well-made despite their relatively light weight. I think the packaging and accessories could be better!
