The Vango Blade 200 2-person tent is made with recycled Protex Eco® Fabric. The super compact Blade has only one pole, making it quick to pitch and lightweight. The perfect tent for short trips away where pack size and weight is priority.

Single pole construction for easy pitching

The Vango Blade 200 boasts single pole design, which in addition to keeping the tent lightweight also makes it one of the easiest tents to pitch. You can have the Blade 200 pitched and ready to go in under 10 minutes! There are also multiple reflective pegging points to aid visibility in lower light conditions. As with all Vango tents it is also quick and easy to pack everything away compactly thanks to the oversized opening and compression straps on the pack bag.

Comfortable camping

Internally the Vango Blade 200 is equipped with conveniently positioned inner pockets, which are great for organising your essentials so they’re nice and handy. Further benefits include a breathable polyester inner to allow condensation to pass through and a part mesg inner door for increased ventilation. Vango also use Fire Retardant Fabrics that exceed the standard for safety.

Designed to keep you dry

The Vango Blade 200 has been weather tested to standard EN ISO 5912 for peace of mind making it suitable for use in wet weather. All flysheet and groundsheet seams are factory taped for a watertight seal and it comes with a robust and hardwearing 70D 6000mm HH Polyester Groundsheet.

Protex Eco® Fabric

With a development focus on the environment the Protex® Eco Flysheet has been created from single-use plastics. The 70D polyester is waterproof to 3000mm HH, has fully taped seams, providing durability and reliability for wild camping.

Blade tent.

I bought Blade for two somewhere in 2012! I still have it, still taking it camping, I had it on 3 weeks road trip on motorcycle in Norway ( many nights and mornings in the rain, I slept in mud with it e few times, always dry inside). Now I'm taking this nearly legendary tent to 9 days track/hike to Scotland. And I'm absolutely sure this tent will do again :). If you take care of it, it will take care of you.:)

Really good!

I’ve had this for a few of months now and very please with it! Overall the Vango Blade tent offers an excellent space-to-weight ratio, making it ideal for a luxurious solo outing or a quick 2-person stay. I prefer to use it on my own so I can relax in comfort with all of my gear unpacked beside me. It held up well in windy conditions thanks to the correct pitching technique, and I’ve found the tent's mm rating to be pretty accurate as I’ve yet to experience any leaks or condensation issues. It also packs down very small if you carry the pegs and pole separately outside of your backpack. However, like a lot of lower-budget tents, the included pegs may not be the most durable, so my advice would be to swap them out for better ones. The porch is small, but it can accommodate boots, a stove, and a few other items as a solo camper, while the rest of your gear can fit inside the tent.

Excellent

I’ve taken this tent on numerous trips now without issues. The single-pole design is exceptional, withstanding all sorts of weather conditions. I found the included pegs work well and even handle harder ground. The porch is small but spacious enough for a small stove. This is a good quality tent for the money and I expect to get many years enjoyment out of it! Delivery and service from Ligo was excellent

Happy with it!

I’ve only used the tent once so far but pleased with how it went. Primary motivation for purchase was the price and weight. Managed to pitch for the first time solo in rain and windy conditions without any problems but it did take longer than 8 mins (should probably have practised in the garden before I took it with me). Quick delivery

Great tent for the price

Found this tent really easy to pitch with the one pole design, even in blustery conditions. I used it on my own and found it spacious but compact enough to carry backpacking. A little drafty at the front due to the gap to the ground of the outer skin, not excessive but noticeable. Might be able to remedy this in future by packing some extra pegs for the inner and outer skins. Generally a good tent for both backpacking and camping.
