Experience superior optical clarity with the newest high-quality ED flat field binoculars from Viking. Building on the success of the Peregrine range, the Osprey features ED glass objective elements and dielectric prism coatings, setting a new standard for this price range. The Osprey ED comes with a padded case, strap, and lens covers, making it the ideal choice for enhancing your wildlife viewing experience.

High-quality ED Glass

The Viking Osprey ED binoculars use Extra Low Dispersion Glass for their objective lenses, resulting in brighter and clearer images compared to standard lenses. Additionally, dielectric coatings on the prisms enhance light transmission for even sharper visuals.

100% Waterproof

The Viking Osprey ED can handle any weather, as they are fully waterproof and guaranteed up to 1m. Like all of Viking's high-end binoculars, they are also nitrogen filled to prevent internal fogging.

10-Year Warranty

Viking produces their optics to a high standard, and the Osprey ED is their top-of-the-line model, made with top-quality materials from the glass elements to the metal focus wheel and robust barrel armor. The build quality is supported by a 10-year warranty for added reassurance, and Viking has received high ratings for long-term durability and repair services from users.

Why should you buy these binoculars?

Viking is known for their high-quality optics at great prices, and we were impressed by their venture into more advanced optics. While these may be their priciest binoculars so far, the Osprey truly stand out and are worth the investment!

Bought these binoculars for a safari and so pleased that I did! Without them I wouldn't have been able to view half the animals I saw. Clarity was brilliant and I was able to see so much detail. They were comfortable to hold and feel solidly built. Would highly recommend

Simply incredible

These are outstanding binoculars from Viking that stack up well against way more expensive models for a fraction of the price. These 8x42 Osprey's just simply deliver. Brightness, colour, clarity, sharpness and resolution are stunning, even in low light. These have huge ocular lenses and fantastic eye relief, not to mention the expansive field of view. Simply breathtaking! Looking through these is a joy. All the other high-end specs, ED glass, Phase & Dielectric Coating, etc., that you find on much more expensive binoculars, are here. I am constantly impressed that Viking continues putting out a world class product that won't break the bank. More birders and nature enthusiasts are seeing that you can buy outstanding, world class binoculars for under £500. I continue to give a big thumbs down to Swarovski, Leica and Zeiss! So, so overpriced! There is no way anyone can convince me that these high-end brands are 8x better than a pair of these Viking Ospreys.

Take birdwatching to a new level

Compared these bins directly with the former less expensive ones. The difference is significant and well worth the extra.
