The BT 4000 Trio set of Big Button Cordless Phones without Answering Machine The BT 4000 Trio offers ease of use and extra loud volume for elderly users of landline cordless phones. The handsets are hearing aid compatible and boast a bright backlit display with extra large font, specially shaped handset for an easier grip, and big buttons for comfortable use. Further benefits of the BT 4000 include practical features including Call Blocking. Extra loud Landline calls are exceptionally clear when using the BT 4000, which is equipped with an Amplify button on the side of each handset that can be activated for an instant boost to the volume when struggling to hear. The handset volume can be easily adjusted during calls, and there is an in-built speakerphone on each handset for the convenience of talking hands-free. Block Nuisance Calls Unwanted sales calls can be a nuisance for anyone, but can be a particular concern for the elderly; the BT 4000 helps to combat these unwelcome disturbances by enabling users to prevent incoming calls from international and withheld numbers. There is also an option to block up to 10 individual numbers, and a ‘Do not Disturb’ mode to silence the ringer for all but your VIP contacts.

Is this phone compatible with my setup?

If you have a router with a phone port like the diagram below*, then you'll easily be able to plug in the phone cable provided with the phones (or with the RJ11 cable provided with your router).

If you don't have a phone port, then you will need a phone with a LAN connection, which is provided with all our Gigaset N300A IP and N510 IP bundles.

*Please note the configurations of your router may look different, however you should still be easily able to locate if there is a phone port or not.

Great phone but?

I have had this phone a while now and I can't fault it except for one thing. I was showing a friend how the call barring for certain numbers works. I used my own mobile number as an example and now I don't know how to un-bar it! Does anyone know how to do this?

Short line cord

why are all line cords so short. The longer ones are supposed to be universal {so bt tell me } but I have tried to buy 3 phones and had to take them back, I also purchased 2 longer line cords but thet definitely do not work wat is the answer? many thanks

Good quality, loud and clear

Bought the 4 pack for mum and dad, good clear buttons, loud by default. nThe phone has an amplify button which toggles extra loud for the duration of the call, it would be easier to use if this was just part of the volume control (then there is only one way of operation to teach).nThe hands free mode is very useful and clear, and setup is straightforward (the first two phones with the base station work by default, the additional 2 I purchased needed a specific pairing sequence but its all in the manual.nThe phone book sync's between all handsets which is neat.nnWould recommend as a normal landline phone, not just for hard of hearing/sight.nnDelivery was lightning fastn
