Celestron’s SkyMaster Series of large aperture binoculars are a phenomenal value for high performance binoculars ideal for astronomical viewing or for terrestrial (land) use - especially over long distances. Each SkyMaster model features high quality BaK-4 prisms and multi-coated optics for enhanced contrast. Celestron has designed and engineered the larger SkyMaster models to meet the special demands of extended astronomical or terrestrial viewing sessions.

For maximum stability and secure optical alignment the 100mm SkyMaster model features enhanced structural reinforcement to the main binocular body. As an additional convenience, the 100mm SkyMaster model also includes an integral super rigid photo tripod adapter. The SkyMaster Series binoculars are built to provide years of magnificent views of the world around you and the heavens above.

The built in tripod adapter of the SkyMaster Pro 20x80mm not only allows the binocular to be attached to a tripod for added stability but it also acts as a balance rail by sliding along the center support rod. A red-dot finder can also be attached to the center support rod utilizing the removable rail. When properly aligned with the binocular, the red-dot finder will allow objects to be brought into view quickly.

Highly recommend!

Very good 20x80 binoculars for moon and star gazing. Tripod needed. I have a very basic tripod from Hama, which works well enough and attaches easily to the binoculars.

Extremely well made and the viewing quality is excellent on a tripod. It is possible to use by hand but not for extended periods - they are massive and fairly heavy. Managed to observed Jupiter and the brightness and colour was impressive. Work well during the daylight as well for landscapes. Excellent value for the price!
