The Vango Nevis 300 3-man tent is compact and light weight with good head height and is quick to pitch and is all wrapped up into a very light, small pack size. Features include, PowerLite Alloy poles, door vent and TBS II Tension Brand System, adding strength and stability to make your trip fun and carefree.

Quality throughout

The tent is designed to be easy to pitch, with just two poles, making it quick to set up and take down. The poles are made of lightweight and durable alloy, which ensures that the tent is stable and sturdy even in harsh weather conditions. The tent's flysheet is made of high-quality Protex 70D polyester, which is waterproof and has a hydrostatic head rating of 3000mm, making it suitable for use in heavy rain. The Nevis 300 has two doors, one at the front and one at the side, which provide easy access and ventilation. The tent's porch area is larger than the Nevis 200, providing even more space for storing gear and equipment. The porch also has a groundsheet, which helps to keep the interior of the tent clean and dry.

Tent design

The inner tent is made of breathable polyester, which helps to prevent condensation and keep the interior of the tent dry and comfortable. The inner tent also features a mesh panel at the top, which provides ventilation and helps to keep insects out. The tent's door is large and easy to open and close, with a zip that runs smoothly. Like the Nevis 200, the Nevis 300 features the Tension Band System (TBS II), which helps to stabilize the tent in windy conditions. The TBS II consists of two straps that run from the tent's corners to the middle of the tent, providing additional support and preventing the tent from collapsing in strong winds.

Lightweight

The tent's compact size and lightweight design make it easy to carry, with a weight of just 2.85 kg and a packed size of 50 x 18 cm. The tent's reflective webbing and guy lines make it easy to spot in low light conditions, reducing the risk of tripping over guy lines.

Safety first

The tent's design includes reflective webbing and guy lines, which make it easier to spot in low light conditions, reducing the risk of tripping over guy lines. The tent also comes with a repair kit, which includes patches and glue for fixing any damage to the tent's fabric. One unique feature of the Nevis 300 is the addition of mesh windows on the doors, which provide additional ventilation and allow campers to enjoy the view even when the doors are closed. The tent also has internal storage pockets, which provide convenient storage for small items.

Why Should You Buy This Tent?

In summary, the Nevis 300 3-man tent is a reliable and practical choice for campers and hikers who require a slightly larger tent than the Nevis 100 and 200. Its easy-to-pitch design, high-quality materials, and thoughtful features make it a popular choice among outdoor enthusiasts who value durability and versatility.

Good quality

I've used the Vango Nevis a few times now (once in heavy rain) and on each occasion the tent was superb. Pitch time was a few mins and take down was even quicker. Kept me dry, warm and comfortable throughout the night. Overall, this is a great tent for one person and I'm really pleased I bought it. Highly recommend

Great

Decided to take up wild camping and this seemed like a good choice. I've had it out on a few trips now and find it easy to pitch and pack. There's just about enough room for me and my kit, it's reasonably lightweight, and coped well with some strong winds. Yet to experience any heavy rain but so far it has been water tight. Overall I'm very pleased with it!

Very good for the price!

I've had this tent out in windy, rainy and chilly conditions and it was more than decent. Yes, there was some condensation, and the included pegs tend to bend, expecially if you try them on harder soil. Buy for the price I don't think you can complain as this isn't really a pro level technical tent but better than most budget models.
