Excellent tent, comfortably accommodating two people. It features porch areas on each side for storing packs and boots. Weighing around 5 lbs, it boasts sturdy aluminum poles and is quick and easy to set upeither as an all-in-one or fly-first, ideal for dividing the tent between two packs. The tent includes reliable pegs, exhibiting strength in windy conditions. While I haven't tested it in snow, the low-flying fly and raised tub suggest it should fare well in minimal drifting.
I recommend investing in the footprint, ensuring that items in the porches remain elevated. Personally, I fit one large and one standard Topo Neo-air inside. Addressing potential condensation on the outer, a quick wipe with a small sponge before packing proves effective. Ensuring a separation between the inner and fly eliminates damp issues.
The groundsheet handles dampness decently, showing minimal effects on very wet groundespecially with the footprint. Zips function well, with the fly opening from both the bottom and top. Care must be taken to avoid trapping the outer, though there's a Velcro-fastened fly over the outer zips.
The tent is semi-free standing, and while I rarely peg out the guys, stabilizing the outer requires pegging. Inside, there's enough room to sit up, thanks to steep walls, and a loop is available for securing your torch. Two internal pockets are positioned at either end.
Setup and takedown each take a few minutes, facilitated by the bag's compression straps and wide opening. Would purchase again!
