Top value

These binoculars are not perfect because they do have some internal reflections, but for use in daylight the field of view and close focus are stunning. Good value and quick delivery.

Faultless!

I love the way these feel. Very well built. Nice focus, very smooth. I wanted a lower magnification pair of binoculars because they are more steady to hold and show plenty. Optically, these are excellent. Sharpness is excellent across the field and chromatic aberration is well-controlled. I do see a slight curvature and some reflections when the sun is hitting them in the front. I plan to use these for bird watching and star gazing. Overall, for the price, this is a solid 5 stars.

Punching above their weight!

These are excellent little binoculars with a huge field of view. Feel very well made, comfortable in the hand, nice weight, and the focus wheel is smooth and responsive. I like the 6.5 magnification and think that the clarity from the wider fov and being able to hold it steady gives for a better experience. I can't say I notice or miss the difference between these and the higher magnification of the 8x binoculars I had before. Generous eye relief too so very comfortable to use whilst wearing my specs. Also, really good close focus! All in all I think these are excellent and worth every penyy!

Top class!

After reading several reviews online and heading along to a local optics event I decided to buy the Kowa BD II XD 6.5x32. My first proper pair of binoculars and so far I have not been disappointed. Firstly, the build quality is excellent, which was one of the things that struck me most when I had the opportunity to try them out. You really get the impression that it has been well made and feels solid and durable but at the same time with its compact size and weight, comfortable to use. The view when using the Kowa's are in my humble opinion (though I'm by no means an expert) are incredible. Extremely bright and with a precision of detail I've not experienced before. Yes, they are quite expensive but I feel like you're paying for quality and getting it. Top class!
