Rechargeable batteries provide up to 18 hours' use, which should be plenty for even the most rigorous users. The Midland XT60 also offers a VOX function with 9 sensitivity levels capable of automatically detecting a voice to activate the transmission so you can use handsfree. This was one of the most effective VOX compatible walkie talkies we tested.
