Design & build

The Nature DX binoculars come with a rubber-armour casing, making them both durable and lightweight. They can survive being dropped or jostled about while on the move, but won’t weigh you down as you go. As well as being waterproof, these binoculars are also nitrogen-filled to prevent fogging. What’s more, they are also very comfortable to use, with twist-up eyecups that ensure proper positioning of the eyes and allow them to be used with glasses.

Lens

The Nature DX series is an excellent choice for birders, since they provide clear, sharp images across a reasonable distance. The lenses are crafted from premium BaK4 prism glass and then multi-coated, giving a more refined exit pupil and letting in more light. This makes them suitable for use at all hours of the day, so they’re perfect for early-morning birdwatching. With a more precise field of view than 8x models, it also makes identifying birds that little bit easier.

Why Should You Buy These Binoculars?

Well built and excellent image quality

Well designed and feel very high quality. Can be used with glasses which is essential for me. Image is sharp and clear and the binoculars are very easy to focus. Comfortable to use for long periods as well. Given the price of these I am extremely impressed.

Excellent value for money

I purchased these on the advice of a friend who is very much into birdwatching. The binoculars are nice and bright and offer a very clear image, as well as a good field of view. I opted for the 8x42 model because I was told this had a wider field of view which is better for amateurs like me. It's quite heavy but the quality of the lenses more than makes up for that. Excellent value for money too!

Quality

Cracking pair of binoculars for the price! Much better than other similarly priced binos I've tested - can't fault these. Sturdy build, good optics, and comfortable to use. Very pleased with my purchase.

Good value binoculars!

My rating is based on quality/price ratio and at just over £100 for the 8x42 these are never going to be the best binoculars out there, however, at this price point I think they are excellent. I bought these for my son to use on wildlife walks. I opted for the 8x42 as I felt anything with more magnification wouldn't provide a steady enough image for him. I had also read that they fold close together so would be ok for his smaller head and they do fold close enough for him to use comfortably.

They seem fairly well made and the image is bright and easy to focus with little chromatic aberrations. Overall I think these are very good for binoculars of the price and would be excellent for beginners. I would be less sure if they were at their full price of £160 as there might be a better options at that price point.
